Many people looking for a dentist also need a doctor, and this group lists the medical clinics, family physicians, urgent care and walk-in centers, hospitals, pediatricians, eye doctors, medical specialists and pharmacies near the dental practices on the site. Primary care in the US runs through family doctors and internists who coordinate referrals; urgent care centers handle minor injuries and illnesses without an appointment for far less than an emergency room; hospitals with emergency departments are the place for severe facial trauma or a dental infection that spreads. Pharmacies fill the antibiotics and pain medication a dentist prescribes and sell fluoride rinses and prescription-strength toothpaste.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is Open 24 hours. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (518) 243-4000. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is ellismedicine.org, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Schenectady is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Schenectady is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Came in with intense stomach pain and ended up having my appendix removed. Mitch, Sabrina, and the other nurses were all wonderful. I wish I could remember everyone’s name because each nurse made a difference in their own way. The nurses seemed stretched very thin with the number of patients they were caring for, but they were still attentive, so friendly, and made a crummy weekend much more bearable. Dr. Satish did a great job with my surgery and clearly communicated the process to me throughout. I felt very reassured and knew I was in good hands.

If anyone decides to go to this hospital don’t they are not worth it. my husband has been up there since early Monday morning. he didn’t find out what was wrong with him until a couple days later. the surgery he got caused him an infection and made him worse then what he was. the surgeon told me everything went well. The next day after the surgery, he had a bruise nowhere near where the surgery was. I have asked doctors and nurses where it came from and nobody knows what happened to him within that night because he definitely did not go up there with a bruise. on top of that, they decided not to feed him for a whole day we have asked doctors and nurses to get him something to eat because he was hungry and they didn’t do anything about it until hours later. All of this medication that’s supposed to be helping him is a lie all it’s doing is making him drowsy and sleep all day long. To me it seems like they don’t care about that patience, they hear alarms going off and they do nothing about it until somebody says something. Most of those nurses are just there for the money they don’t care about who needs help because all they do is chitchat with each other about their personal lives i

This was by far the best hospital experience I've ever had. I was in for an ablation and Watchman (heart stuff.) The entire staff, from the front desk, to prep, to the o.r. team, to recovery to being wheeled out to the car was upbeat, confident in themselves, and friendly. It made for a pleasant experience for a somewhat nervous guy. Thank you all.--- Mike Mowry

Idk why this hospital treating was so low. Honestly I went to Saratoga hospital last night and left because care was subpar was there for 5 hrs and 4/5 I was on a bed in the hallway. And I never got to see doctor. Still felt bad so I tried Ellis, I told them my problems and they were boots on the ground immediately to help my pregnant out of town self feel better. Nurses were attentive, doctor really listened. Glad I chose different rather than going back to the previous hospital.

This is the slowest hospital in the entire capital district. I'm currently awaiting INPATIENT SURGERY, and they have not told me a time I will be seen. They have me in what they call add-on status, which is basically a status where they just put you in wherever they can find a slot. The problem with this is, I am made to go without eating or drinking fluids indefinitely. So I haven't eaten or drank anything since midnight last night, and have no idea when I will be able to eat or drink again. That is torturous because eating is essential to gut and immune health. They are running IV fluids into my body, but at a very very slow rate, so I feel completely dehydrated and famished.
